Johnny Dollar - the man with the action packed expense account. One of the last true Old Time Radio shows to be aired on radio. "At insurance investigation he's just an expert, but at making out his expense account he's an absolute genius!" Johnny Dollar was a freelance insurance investigator who lived in Hartford, Connecticut. He would start on an insurance investigation at the beginning of each episode, usually brought on by a phone call from an insurance agent. The cases were always unusual, and the outcome was often completely unexpected. The story is told through Johnny's expense account report that he is filling out for the company agent.
